Andrew R. Gremel

Andy Gremel has had more than 22 years experience designing employee benefit programs for small, medium, and large businesses, as well as tailoring individual programs to meet client's unique, personal needs.

As a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Gremel also uses his experience and knowledge to design executive compensation programs; pension, profit sharing, and 401(k) plans; buy-sell agreements; and irrevocable trusts using life, disability, and long-term care insurance. He is licensed in the State of Michigan to sell life, accident and health insurance.

Gremel received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Michigan and his law degree from Wayne State University. He is the past president of the Grand Rapids Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and was also a founder of their charitable Foundation. Gremel is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, The West Michigan Estate Planning Council and the National Association of Health Underwriters. Gremel also is an active supporter of the Rockford Relay for Life, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Habitat for Humanity of Kent County, the Wolverine World Wide Family YMCA, and Rockford Public Schools Education Foundation and sports, band, and choir boosters.

He is a strong supporter of economic development in downtown Rockford; in fact, Morris Schnoor & Gremel received the Rockford Chamber of Commerce Economic Development award in 2006. In addition to his successful insurance career, Gremel also was instrumental in the development of Reds on the River, a popular downtown Rockford restaurant.
