As founder and principal of The Gremel Group, Andy Gremel has been an engaged contributor throughout his career to numerous Michigan-based organizations. He believes to the core that the health and well-being of one’s community are the building blocks to a successful future. He leads by example, investing his personal and corporate time and resources with the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation, the University of Michigan Scholarship Fund, the Heart of West Michigan United Way, the SpartanNash Foundation, the Wolverine Worldwide Family YMCA, the Duane E Dewey Amvets Post 1988, the Baldwin Community Library, Trout Unlimited and numerous Kent County conservation efforts.

Andy also encourages The Gremel Group team members to give back to their communities, volunteering their time and talents to organizations of their choice.

In 2022, Andy and his wife Meredith were named Co-Chairs of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) of West Michigan’s Light The Night® campaign. Throughout the year, they are volunteering their time to build awareness of LLS’s education, advocacy, peer support, and financial assistance for blood cancer patients and their families, in addition to raising vital funds for advancing research initiatives, expanding treatment options and improving outcomes. Given every three minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer, Andy is passionate about connecting clients, their employees and dependents, and communities at large to vital healthcare services, educational resources, and financial assistance for all families navigating a diagnosis and treatment. #CuringCancerIsInOurBlood
