Building healthier communities is complicated.  Certainly, helping individuals and businesses obtain affordable health insurance is at the core of what we do.

Yet, we recognize that it is only part of the equation.

Access to affordable fresh fruits and vegetables and community initiatives that strive to improve mental and physical health are also key components.

This fuels our passion to support the Lake County community through ongoing efforts to develop programs and services as part of Baldwin, Michigan’s long-term vision plan.  Specifically, we have stepped up to lead several initiatives, including launching the Pure Markette Farmers/Makers Market in 2024, serving as volunteers and yearly sponsors, developing  the FARMACY Rx Produce Prescription Program in 2025 with our community partners, and establishing a Street-Calming/Safety Project on M-37 (2025-26).

The Gremel Group also continues its support helping families fight blood cancer and heart disease.   In 2022, Andy Gremel and his wife Meredith served as Co-Chairs of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night West Michigan event.

Andy and Meredith are most grateful to the many clients, colleagues, vendors, staff, family and friends who joined them to bring light to the darkness of cancer.  Collectively, we raised over $300,000 in West Michigan to advance patient outcomes and improve access to care.
